Building a process: Autumn 2019

Over 6 weeks, new actors develop the necessary skills to build a workable, repeatable and evolving acting process.

Beginning with the essential work that teaches the actor how to live truthfully in dramatic moments, then moving to text analysis and interpretation and character creation, this course grounds the actor in a foundation that will serve over a lifetime.

Learn how to work in space and time as a creative actor who is authentic and responsive. Develop essential script analysis skills in order to break down and unlock the keys to building a vivid character. Become a generous, attentive actor that knows how to work a scene with another actor and take direction well. Understand the life and career demands of the working actor.
